Lauren Azoulai

Director of Development, Southeast

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lauren Azoulai first joined the Hadassah staff in 2000, working for more than seven years as the Southeast Area Development Center’s Director of Development. She then spent another two years as National Hadassah’s Director of Development for Hadassah College Jerusalem (now Hadassah Academic College). Lauren returned to Hadassah in November 2014 as the Development Director for the Southeast, covering the Southeastern, Southern and Southern Seaboard Regions. Prior to working for Hadassah, Lauren spent 17 years working for Jewish Federations in Atlanta and Florida.

 

Lauren grew up with Hadassah and is part of a four-generation Life Member and Associate family. Her late mother was a Chapter President in Hollywood, Florida, and Lauren is a past Vice-President of the Greater Atlanta Chapter’s Ketura Group.

 

Lauren lived in Israel for seven years and is a graduate of the School of Social Work at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her husband Moshe graduated from a Youth Aliyah high school and received his Master’s Degree in Medical Research at the Hadassah Hebrew University Medical School in Ein Kerem.

 

Lauren has three sons, the first of whom, Shai, a Hadassah Associate, was born at our own Hadassah Hospital.
